Calling All Prayer Warrior

The rumors have started concerning the next batch of referrals from China. Start praying now for a big batch and let's bring Abby home SOON!

Early Rumors

There is a rumor that matching has begun, but I haven’t been able to trace back to figure out where the rumor came from originally. So, an R1 (no confirmation) on that one. Odds are that they are probably matching by now, though. And then I see rumors of a cut off for anywhere from the 10th to the 13th. I’ll just lump them all into an R2 at this point. Keep in mind, some of them aren’t “this is the cut off”, but “this is my LID and my agency says I’m in”, which of course is not their agency saying what the cut off is.

The lastest the poll numbers show the following number of families by date:

01/05/06 24
01/06/06 28
01/07/06 2
01/08/06 3
01/09/06 22
01/10/06 29
01/11/06 23
01/12/06 55
01/13/06 31
01/14/06 3
01/15/06 5
01/16/06 33
01/17/06 18
01/18/06 7

Keep in mind this is a poll so it will not include all families, just those who chose to participate in the poll.

The important thing to remember right now is that these are early rumors.

Just start praying. If we can get through two weeks even that would show a definite positive movement from what the CCAA (Chinese Adoption Center) has done in the recent past.

Thank you in advance for your prayers,
Becky

The Official Word

The official email came for the month. This morning, the CCAA workstation is updated and states the following:

The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with their office before October 31st, 2006.

The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with their office before January 4, 2006.

Thank you for your prayers. I think 8 days is pretty good since they were closed for half the month due to the Chinese New Year. Keep praying maybe next month will be a big batch.

Blessings to you all.
